YesterDays

Emotions overcoming me
It’s haunting me for reasons,
24 months and 19 days past
Destiny of longing is vague

What is a good solution?
To combat fatigue of love
Other side is getting heavier
Do I give into emptiness’?

Yesterday you stripped me naked
Today you cut me into pieces
Emotionally knock me out,
And mentally perfect me!

Now I see difference clearly
It gives me more stability!
Realization dawned in me
I doubted Yesterdays,
Do I need to trust today?

Am I longing for a soul?
Emotions do not need identity
Face and body can live life
With imaginations of mind

Life taken the role of roller coaster
Turning and churning the wheel
Never stopping for a breath
Do I trust today to forget?
My yesterdays Dreams?

Sapna-chill! It was meant to be constructive criticism from an old man but dont change your style. The poem was still very good!

Sapna Anu B.George said...

Alex,i did take any amount of criticism and in my 42 years,i have only taken it as constructive only, you should reveal yourself,Alex seems to be annonymous,in our malayalam blog group,we have catagorized anonni's as pests who has no guts to stand upto what they belive in.Please do let me know hwo you are, ......thanks again for the comments.

For me, the only thing needed is,a few genuine people listening/reading me, following my thaughts, understanding me........

It was by chance that I came in touch with this wonderful world of Mallu bloggers. And it was again by chance [or was it my love for poetry?] that I happened to stop by your ''manassintae kilivathil'' as you have described your blog. The first few lines of your poem caught my attention and I was getting into the mood when that 'u' and '2' appeared-nalla neychorinnidayil kallu polae!I thought it was a good piece of introspection and the comment was meant to be an encouraging one but it looks like I have touched a raw nerve------.

Sapna-are all 'anonis' pests?Perhaps some are; perhaps some are just shy; perhaps some are indeed cowards [like me!!].

Do you know that anonymity is purest expression of altruism? [and that my intentions were good?].
I came uninvited and while the door is still open, I shall softly step out into the dark------
Alex.

Alex, i have never meant the word'anoni' to be an insult, but soemtimes, they can really touch and hurt a bad nerve. I am a women and do not instigate me to find you and i will someday, if i see the need. The shy part is soemting i understand and the coward part i do not agree and you read the poem once only' 2 /u' still there and if you agree i will direact you to another malayalam kilivathil,,,
www.swapnakavithakal.blogspot.com and www.sapnaanu.blogspot.com, so please reveal yourself to ME.....a request

Poor Anoni-even after his frank admission of being a coward,he is accused of instigation and likely to be subjected to investigation and interrogation! The lady has laid down her pen and has taken up her gun!!!
Sapna-am just kidding!
BTW dont you think that our banter is getting to be a tad boring for the rest of your bloggers[the exposed and the anonis!]

Read, reread, and read again, but still not sure whether i understood what the writer has intended to convey....

Sapna Anu B.George said...

Sobi,it talks about Yesterday;s...
The yesterdays of love and that has no explanations,no reasons,no excuses and no stop.It goes on and on and on in one form or the other.Control,Anager and being possessive can be an expression of love, too,to many.
